About Rob Sklans

Rob Sklans is a three-time Chief Human Resources Officer and the Founder of Momentum HR Advisors. He works with CEOs, boards, and leadership teams to build the people systems that make business strategy executable. His work focuses on complex, high-growth, and private-equity-backed environments.

Over the past two decades, Rob has served as CHRO or senior HR leader in life sciences, specialty chemicals, and global manufacturing organizations. Most recently, he was CHRO at Innocoll Biotherapeutics, where he built a global HR function from the ground up during a period of rapid growth and commercialization. He later led North America HR for Biocon Biologics during a $3B integration, building the regional HR infrastructure while maintaining 99% employee retention through significant organizational change. Earlier, as CHRO at Elementis, a FTSE-250 specialty chemicals company, he unified fragmented regional HR teams, supported 20 manufacturing sites, and led large-scale workforce and operating model transformations.

Earlier in his career, Rob held global HR leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, where he helped design the company’s global HR service delivery model and build enterprise talent and capability systems. That experience shaped his long-standing focus on operating models, decision clarity, and how organizations actually get work done under pressure.

Momentum HR Advisors was founded to bring that same system-level thinking to companies that need senior HR leadership without the overhead or inertia of traditional models. Rob is known for bringing clarity to complexity, challenging assumptions that slow execution, and helping leadership teams align strategy, structure, and culture to drive sustained performance.
